Agapanthus ‘Charlotte’

A clump-forming, evergreen herbaceous perennial with broad, strap-shaped mid-green leaves and sturdy, erect stems producing umbels of small trumpet-shaped flowers on sturdy flower stalks in the summer. These are pale-blue with a darker blue-purple mid rib down the centre of each petal. The flowers of the Agapanthus contain a lot of nectar and are therefore often visited by butterflies, bees and even birds. The Agapanthus has a long flowering period from June to September. This sun lover is drought and heat resistant. This Agapanthus looks in a border or in a large pot.
