A stunning white agapanthus or African lily, Agapanthus Polar Ice is a medium-sized, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial and one of the hardier agapanthus. The strap-shaped leaves are mid-green, forming an attractive clump. In July and August it that bear elegant white flowers that bloom in dense spherical clusters on tall sturdy stems, flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinators. This variety is very free flowering and is perfect for use in beds, borders, cottage style gardens, coastal gardens, or in pots and containers. Container are especially useful for Agapanthus in colder, exposed areas where it can be brought in for the winter; otherwise a thick mulch can be used to protect the plants. Height of 80 cm and spread of 40 cm.
