Lemon Grass

Lemongrass is an unusual plant that's both delicious to eat and beautiful to look at. It is a popular fragrant herb that has a sweet lemon flavour and grows in dense clumps of strappy grass like bright green leaves. It is often used in Aisan cusine. In the garden Lemon grass is not a frost tolerant and requires protection in winter.  It is best grown in a container so it can be kept it in a sunny, sheltered spot outside during summer, and moved indoors for winter.
