Rosa 'Princess Anne' (Auskitchen) David Austin Rose

 'Rosa' Princess Anne' is an unusual variety of rose, having come from a different line of breeding to most modern cultivars. While retaining the classic full-petalled flowers and tea-rose scent of traditional English roses, it has an upright, bushy habit and shows exceptional resistance to rose diseases.

s. The young flowers of Rosa 'Princess Anne'  open a  deep pink, almost red, fading to pure rich pink as they mature. The rather narrow petals are unusually substantial, with a hint of yellow on their undersides. Held in large, fragrant clusters, they are produced with remarkable freedom, and appear successionally over a long season.

 It's an ideal rose for going at the back of a border, and is also a good choice for growing as a hedge.
